PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of malfunction in a controlled device other than a controlled device constituting a pair by discriminating whether an output signal is obtained from the controller constituting the pair or not and selectively receiving only the output signal of the controller constituting the pair to execute normal operation. CONSTITUTION:In a controller, i.e., a transmitter, for sending the output signal of an infrared-ray remote control system, the output signal of a microcomputer 1 is obtained by plural operating means 1a to 1d for operating the traveling of e.g. remote control cars. On the other hand, a modulating circuit 2 is connected to the output side of the microcomputer 1 and the modulated output signal is transmitted through an infrared-ray emitting means 3. In the controlled device constituting a pair with the transmitter, an infrared-ray receiving means 4 for receiving the output signal transmitted from the means 3 connects its output side to a democulating circuit 5, which demodulates the output signal of the means 4. Only the output signal from the controller constituting the pair is selectively received to attain normal operation. Consequently, the generation of malfunction in a controlled device constituting a different pair can be completely removed. |
