PURPOSE: To charge a small power from the high-voltage conductor of a power feed line by setting the number of turns of a transformer, so that a storage capacitor can be charged within a time by a series of operations or a series of operation sequences of an electrically operated device in a circuit system, for rectifying the secondary current of a current transformer and for charging the storage capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A current transformer T has 5,000 turns of primary coil winding P, 1,000 turns of a secondary coil winding S, and 900mm<2> cross section area of a stacked core. The ratio of the number of turns for the current transformer T is selected, so that a secondary current i2 that is sufficient for charging a storage capacitor with a time that can be utilized during the continuous automatic re-closing cycle of a circuit breaker can be generated. A storage capacitor C2 has a nominal capacity of 10,000μF and can be charged up to 380V when it is obtained by a zener diode Z, thus storing 700 Joules of energy in an automatic turn-on cycle and eliminating the need for re-charging. |
