<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a computer and to suppress the thickness to improve the quality of a tube by detecting the transition point between a stationary rolling state and a transient rolling state and changing a preset quantity of a controlled variable of the stationary rolling state under a transient rolling state obtained in accordance with the detected result. CONSTITUTION:Transformation to the controlled variable for controlling uniformizing of the thickness in a stationary rolling state is required previously in the transient rolling state. Then, the state transition point between the stationary rolling state and the transient rolling state is detected by the prediction based on an elapsed time of rolling and since the controlled variable changed by this transformation is used for control to uniformize the thickness in accordance with this detected result, the load of a computer used for control is reduced and further, fluctuation of thickness in the lengthwise direction of the tube is suppressed to obtain a tube excellent in quality.</p> |
