PURPOSE:To use the capacity of a solar battery efficiently by using a hysteresis comparator as a means for controlling the inversion of switching elements for controlling charging working, and by setting two inverting voltage levels of the comparator higher and lower than a voltage at which a maximum output is produced from a solar battery. CONSTITUTION:Along with the reduction of the output current generated from a solar battery 1, output voltage is heightened, and when its voltage level goes higher than a specified value, then a hysteresis comparator 7 functions to invert the output signal from its output terminal 8 to L level. Upon inversion to a non-conducting state of a first switching transistor 17, a second switching transistor 20 and a MOS transistor 22 are inverted to a conducting state. In this case, energy is stored in a coil 4. This energy is fed to a charging battery 3 when the MOS transistor 22 is set in the non-conducting state. As a result, the solar battery is efficiently used. |
