<p>The invention relates to a method for making a metallic reinforcement comprising continuous corner wire elements (1) and possibly intermediate continuous wire elements (2) which are joined together by transverse frames (4) formed by cross wire elements (3) and in which the previously cut cross wire (3) is bent over by bearing on at least one corresponding continuous corner wire element (1), the cross wire (3) is welded in the bending corner with the said continuous corner wire element, the remaining free portion of the cross wire element (3) is bent over by bearing on at least one other corresponding continuous corner wire element (1), the cross wire element (3) is welded electrically in the bending corner and the remaining free portions of the cross wire element (3) are welded in order to close the frame (4) of the reinforcement. The invention also relates to an automatic apparatus for producing a metallic reinforcement and a metallic reinforcement made by this method. <IMAGE></p> |
