PURPOSE:To avoid a transmission error of a digital voice signal sent from a voice signal source by stopping the operation of an analog waveform interpolation correction circuit when a light is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:When a digital voice signal sent from a CD, a DAT or a BS tuner or the like being a voice signal source 32 is D/A-converted, a transmission error is corrected without increasing the transmission speed by applying interpolation correction. While a light is interrupted, an interpolation correction circuit 50 stops interpolation correction so that the interpolation correction is not malfunctioned. Thus, the ratio of jitter due to waveform distortion generated during the transmission through an optical fiber and a digital optical link shared in one pulse is reduced. Then the transmission error due to the increase in the transmission speed is decreased. |
