ELECTRONIC TRANSFER ACCOUNT SETTLEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To transfer funds on-line between accounts by using a facsimile equipment by using a special slip provided with pseudo randomly selected alphameric type continuous numerals known only to a payer and stored in the machine language of a transaction institution. CONSTITUTION: A transaction slip provided at least with the pseudo random alphameric type set of the money amount of a transaction, an account number and characters is sent to a central facsimile equipment 34 by a remote facsimile equipment 30 and a central mechanism 36 compares the list of pseudo random alphameric type characters held by the set of the transaction slips issued to transfer settlement account holders with the alphameric type characters of the images of the transaction slip and adjusts the transaction. Thus, electronic transfer settlement is performed with the level of safety believed to be superior to the one using traditional checks.
