<p>PURPOSE:To easily and quickly execute read-continuation in electronic publication by constituting an electronic book device so that a half-read book data position is registered as bookmarker information, and this position can be called simply. In the case of restarting reading, a CPU 38 reads out the book data of the page registered as the bookmarker information from an IC card 24 and displays it on the display part 16.
