PURPOSE:To approximately execute the check of a binary picture in a short time by displaying one part of a multiple density picture in place of the binary picture. CONSTITUTION:An address designating circuit 14 reads out area data, for which only a designated area is made effective, from a memory 15 synchronously with a synchronizing signal. The gate of an analog switch 16 is opened / closed by a signal inverting the area data by a NOT circuit 18. A video signal constituting the multiple density picture in the area excepting for the designated area is outputted to a mixing circuit 19. An AND circuit 17 inputs binary picture data from a binarizing circuit 10 and the area data and outputs only a binary picture signal constituting the binary picture in the designated area to the mixing circuit 19 as an AND output. The mixing circuit 19 mixes the video signal from the analog switch 16 and the binary picture signal from the AND circuit 17. Thus, since one part of the multiple density picture is serially displayed in place of the binary picture, it can be easily discriminated whether a threshold value is optimum or not, etc. |
