<p>PURPOSE:To attain fast feeding for a short time finish regardless of the type of material of a magnetic tape by providing 1st and 2nd running paths, selecting the path optionally in response to the load state of a winding reel base and revising a speed reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A motor driving current of a motor driving circuit 17 is inputted to a motor driving current detection circuit 18 so as to discriminate whether or not the motor current exceeds a predetermined value for a prescribed period or over. When the current exceeds the value, an output of the circuit 18 is inputted to a system control circuit 19 to allow the circuit 17 to stop the drive of a tape 1 and controls a motor driving circuit 20 to stop the operation of a loading motor 21. As a result, the position of loading posts 4, 6 of the 1st running path for the tape 1 is revised into the position of loading posts 4', 6' of the 2nd running path. When the 2nd running path is selected, the speed reference voltage from a speed reference voltage generating circuit 15' is revised by a command from the circuit 19 to select the tape speed for the 2nd running path to a higher speed.</p> |
