PURPOSE:To improve the development efficiency of a program by comparing the result of output expected by executing the program and the actual result of output, and controlling the execution of the program by the result of comparison. CONSTITUTION:To a conventional in-circuit emulator 18, a storage device 1 for storing in advance the result of output expected by executing a program, and a comparing device 3 for comparing the output signal 7 of the storage device 1 and a program address 13 are added, and the output signal of the comparing device 3 is inputted to a stop device 4. When the program is executed, and the value of the program address 13 outputted actually, and an expected output result stored in advance in the storage device 1 are different from each other, a signal 17 for instructing the stop of the execution of the program is outputted to a CPU 9, and the execution of the program is stopped. In such a manner, the detection of the case when the actual output result by executing the program is different from the expected output result is facilitated, and the development efficiency of the program is improved. |
