PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily, rapidly evaluate iodin content by comparing the color of water with color of iodine control solution in the presence of predetermined specific element. CONSTITUTION: A detachable cover 16 is removed, predetermined quantity of drinking water is poured in a support 20 having an arsenic derivative and an inner tube 12 having a film 14 by a hard sharpened tube, and the film 14 is destroyed by the tube. Then, the poured liquid is poured in an outer tube 10 having a support 18 containing cerium derivative by engaging with the tube 12. Then, the cover 16 is put, and the tubes 10, 12 are steadily fluctuated. Then, sample liquid in which the cerium and arsenic of predetermined quantity colored to yellow exist is obtained. The color of iodine control solution obtained similarly by using similar set is compared with the color of the sample liquid. If the discoloring of the color of the sample liquid is rapid, the drinking water of the sample liquid is detected to contain iodine of 50gr per 1 liter of water necessary for a person for one day, and the evaluation of the content of predetermined quantity of iodine can be easily, rapidly and effectively conducted. |
