System of assistance and remote control posts for general use. It is a question of a system which permits improving the communications between a central post and remote assistance posts in the sense of implementing a more efficient method for the transmission of data, whilst at the same time it being possible to detect and automatically adjust the transmission and reception levels at the assistance posts with the objective of eliminating the requirement for individual local adjustments. For this purpose the system has a central communications unit 1, with inputs and outputs coupled by means of optical insulators 17 and a programmer of directions 18, with the particularity of incorporating in addition the common elements typical of any microprocessor, an MSK MODEM which permits carrying out modulation by frequency shift with continuous phase transition and minimum separation between carriers. <IMAGE>
