This device 1 for splitting/distributing the braking action for bicycles, motorcycles and the like comprises a release relay 2 consisting of a body 4 which contains a pair of slides 9, 9' guided along said container body, each slide being joined to a control lever 8, 8' of a brake 20, 21, each one of said slides having a means 10, 12 for connection to a single cable 13 which branches towards the front and rear braking units and a load- distributor element 3 equipped with a fulcrum 14 joining to said single cable and a pair of arms 17, 17' of different length which emerge from said fulcrum, each joined via its free end to one end of a cable 18, 18' directed towards the braking unit of a respective wheel. <IMAGE>
