PURPOSE:To realize automatic adjustment and to reduce remarkably manhours by inserting and connecting a buffer amplifier and a control voltage monitor terminal between the output of a loop filter and a control voltage terminal of a voltage controlled oscillator(VCO) in the constitution of a conventional PLO(phase locked loop oscillator). CONSTITUTION:A PLO consists of a reference oscillator 1, a sampling phase comparator SPD 2, a loop filter 3, a VCO 4, an output terminal 5, a microwave amplifier 6, a control voltage monitor terminal 9, a buffer amplifier 8, and a distributer 7, the output of the loop filter 3 and the input of the buffer amplifier 8 are connected, a control voltage terminal of the VCO 4 is connected to the output of the buffer amplifier 8 via current limit resistors 16, 17 and a control voltage monitor terminal 9 is connected between the resistors 16, 17. In the adjustment of the VCO 4, a power supply is supplied from the power terminal 14, while the oscillating frequency is detected from the output terminal 5, after the center frequency is matched by an adjustment screw 13, an external voltage is applied from the control voltage monitor terminal 9 and while the frequency variable range is detected from the output terminal 5, the adjustment is implemented. |
