PURPOSE:To prepare the title powder excellent in the adsorption capacity, etc., and useful for an external skin preparation, deodorant, etc., by coating the surfaces of particles of a powder with a powder contg. magnesium aluminosilicate as te essential component. CONSTITUTION:A powder selected from the group consisting of nylon 6, polyethylene, polystyrene, polytetrafluoroethylene, aluminum sulfate, etc., is prepd. in advance. The surfaces of particles of the powder are coated with a powder of magnesium aluminosilicate or a mixture thereof with at least one other powder (e.g. bentonite) to give the title powder. An example of the method for carrying out the coating is ball mill mixing. The coated powder is excellent in the adsorption capacity of skin egesta such as lower fatty acids and lipid peroxide, water absorbing and releasing properties, deodorizing effect, etc. |
