摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain the high-density oxide superconductor having a high critical current density by compression-molding the fine powder of an oxide superconducting material having a specified diameter and prepared by the atomization thermal decomposition method, heat-treating the molded body and repeating the heat treatment while exerting a pressure in the same direction as the compression several times. CONSTITUTION:The raw material for an oxide superconducting material (e.g. Y-Ba-Cu-O based superconducting material) is charged in an ultrasonic atomizer 1, sprayed along with a carrier gas into a reaction tube 2 arranged in an electric furnace 5 and thermally decomposed. The produced fine particles are dried by a cold trap 3 and collected by a charged collector 4. The obtained oxide superconducting material having <=1mum particle diameter or the material contg. the elements constituting an oxide superconducting material is then compression- molded. The product is heat-treated, then the heat treatment while exerting a pressure in the same direction as the compression is repeated several times, and an oxide superconductor is obtained. |
