PURPOSE:To manufacture metallic fibers to be mixed in conductive resin cheaply and efficiently by rolling many metallic element wires covered and integrated with resin while dropping lubricant being heated to the thermal deformation temperature of resin. CONSTITUTION:Many bobbins 1, which send out elongated metallic element wires (a), are set in a supply stand, and the metallic element wires sent out of the bobbins 1 are guided by a guide plate 2, and are bundled by a guide die 3 for bundling and become a metallic element bundle (b). This metallic element bundle (b) is inserted in a resin coating extruder 4 so as to cover the metallic element bundle (b) with resin, and is made into a metallic element bundle (c) covered with resin. The metallic element bundle (c) covered with resin, wherein the periphery is covered with resin this way, is successively inserted into many hole-type rolling rolls arranged in series. The metallic element bundle (c) covered with resin is rolled while letting out heated lubricant from the rolling roll lubricant nozzle 6 above each roll of the hole type rolling rolls, and becomes a metallic fiber bundle (d) covered with resin. |
