An antenna unit of the framework type, which unit is intended for directional measuring, preferably in a bore-hole, by the use of radar signals. The new antenna unit comprises at least three electrical conductors 10,12,14,16. These form a corresponding number of transmission conductors. The conductors are arranged in parallel and symmetrically with regard to the central axis of the antenna. At one end the conductors are connected together via balanced termination impedances 18 and at the other end adjacent conductors are connected in pairs via transformers 20, so-called balance-to-unbalance transformers. These receive a number of output signals corresponding to the number of conductors 10,12,14,16 for carrying out the intended measurement. <IMAGE> |
