PURPOSE:To realize an LED lamp which is wide in angle of light distribution by a method wherein the center axes of the reflecting planes of LEDs are set in specific arrangement. CONSTITUTION:An electric power is supplied to light emitting elements 1a and 1b of an LED 9 through the intermediary of lead frames 2a and 2b from external connections. the elements 1a and 2b start emitting light, and the emitted light is reflected by a concave reflecting surface 6. The reflecting surface 6 is formed into, for instance, a hyperboloid of two sheets, and the light emitting elements 1a and 1b are so arranged as to make their centers located on the center axis of the reflecting surface 6. The LED 9 is so arranged as to make the center axis of the reflecting surface rotate about an axis parallel to an axis vertical to both the center axis of the reflecting surface and an axis which passes through the positions where the elements 1a and 1b are located, so that an LED lamp which is wide in angle of light distribution and radiates enough light in the direction of a center axis can be obtained. |
