PURPOSE:To improve a safety in transportation of a heater member by a method wherein a self-combusting heater member comprised of a heating agent layer, a thermal insulating agent layer and a heating agent igniting layer is enclosed in a cartridge composed of a thermal transmitting thin plate. CONSTITUTION:A self-igniting heater comprised of a heating agent layer 2, a thermal insulating agent layer 3 and an igniting wire 4 acting as a heating agent layer igniting part is enclosed in a cartridge 1 composed of a thermal transmitting thin plate. In the event that the device is actually used, the cartridge heater 5 is installed in a container 7 having a heating function with a heater storing chamber. When this installing operation is carried out, it is preferable to press charging with a press or the like in order to increase a close fitness between the cartridge heater 5 and the storing chamber. With such an arrangement, some problems generated through a direct press charging into the container 7 having a heating function of the powder heater, i.e., complex product flow system and some troubles and pin-holes of a food container or the like in view of its sanitary state and an occurrence of pin hole or the like can be resolved. |
