PURPOSE:To obtain fibers having excellent dust collecting properties by blending a specific modified silane compound with a silane as a crosslinking action agent, a specific phosphate and an emulsifying agent in a specific ratio to give a treating agent, providing polyester fibers with the treating agent and making frictional electrification voltage in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:(A) A both ends methoxyamino modified silane and/or both ends hydroxyamino modified silane is blended with (B) gamma- aminopropoxyethoxysilane, (C) timethyllaurylammonium phosphate and (D) and an emulsifying agent in the ratio of the component A/B/C/D of (50-90)/(1-5)/(2-10)/(10-50) to give a treating agent, polyester fibers are provided with 0.1-2wt.% of the treating agent and frictional electrification voltage is made >=400V to give polyester fibers having high electrification. The fibers have excellent dust collecting performance, the treating agent is firmly stuck to the fibers and exhibits a long-term life. |
