The elastic link is comprised of two steel discs, (5) and (6), joined with wedges (7) at the two far ends of the axle (12) and (11), by extending the first (5) to the driving axle (12), and the second (6) to the moved axle (11). Rotary motion is transferred from the first disc (5) to the other (6) by way of elastic pins, fitted to the conical surrounding openings (10) of the discs (5) and (6) - where each pin is comprised of: a spring steel wire (3) passing through and fitted at the openings of the middle metal washer (1) that is extended at both sides and is equal to the length of the conical opening (10), while its ends are fixed to the holes of the metal washers (2). Gaps between the spring steel wires (3), as well as the surrounding areas, are filled with polyurethane or other plastic material. The pins are prevented from coming out of place, by semicircular rings (8) screwed (9) to the discs (5) and (6), thus making possible their removal for easy replacement of the elastic pins in the event of deterioration. The washers, (1) and (2), can be of any material, while their presence is not essential. |
