PURPOSE: To improve the uniformity of weave and to improve the knitting performance by kinitting-in a second guide bar when the yarn of a first guide bar is laid-in and successively repeating both stitch patterns so as to entangle the yarns with each other along the weave. CONSTITUTION: The warp 1 of the previous or first guide bar 4 is supplied from a beam 2, is passed to a fast reed 3 and is laid on the respective guides and needle bars 10 of the guide bar 4. The yarns 5, 7 and 9 from beams 6, 8 and 11 are similarly passed to the guide bars 15, 16 and 17 through the fast reeds 12, 13 and 14 and are supplied to the needle bar 10. The yarn 1 is actuated by the repeating stitch patterns where the laid-in stitches and the knit-in stitches appear alternately. The yarn 5 is actuated by the repeating stitch patterns in the same direction as these stitch patterns. When the yarn 1 is laid-in, the yarn 5 is knit-in and both stitch patterns are successively repeated in such a manner that the yarns entangle each other along the weave. |
