PURPOSE:To prepare a human monoclonal antibody against the outer core of Pseudomonas aeruginosa LPS readily subjected to a purification process by manifesting an antibody gene in a host cell with a specific manifestation plasmid or virus and subsequently recovering the produced antibody. CONSTITUTION:An antibody gene is manifested in an appropriate host cell with a manifestation plasmid or virus containing the gene of a human monoclonal antibody againet the outer core of Pseudomonas aeruginosa lipopolysaccharide(LPS), and the produced antibody is recovered to provide the objective human monoclonal antibody. The gene of the antibody is an antibody gene having an antibody-determining group at the outer core site of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa LPS, having a common structure of Pseudomonas aeruginosa LPS of serum types A, F, G, H, K and M classified by Serum Type Examination Committee in japan Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Research Society, cloned from human monoclonal antibody-producing cells and coding the human monoclonal antibody.
