The therapy blanket incorporates at least 2 flat magnetic dipoles (2...5) coupled to a battery operated oscillator which is activated via a start button (8). Pref. the blanket has 4 magnetic dipoles (2...5) which are spaced for treating different parts of the body. The oscillator (6) remains in operation for a timed duration after each actuation of the start button (8). The oscillator (6) pref. has a number of defined frequencies and is operated from a lithium battery with a life of about 10 years. ADVANTAGE - Allows selected treatment frequency spectrum to be provided for each patient.
