Brick drying kiln that functions according to the chamber- drying principle. The brick loads T being dried are collected via the front door 16a into the drying chamber K1. After drying the brick loads T are withdrawn from the opposite side of the dryer via a back door 16b. The brick drying kiln has two or more series-connected drying chambers K1, K2, K3, each chamber Kn of which functions independently so that during movement of the brick loads T from the preceding drying chamber Kn to the following drying chamber Kn+1 drying of the brick loads T is continued in the latter chamber Kn+1 from essentially the point on the drying scheme (Figure 7) that was reached during drying in the preceding chamber Kn. There are at least two, suitably three or more, drying chambers in series and thus one or more chamber groups are created. A new control method are also presented to control the function of the dryer. <IMAGE> |
