发明名称 COOLING AIR SUPPLY TO EXHAUST GAS COOLING DEVICE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To attempt to reduce the amount of the air used for the instrumentation by sucking naturally the air in the atmosphere by the negative pressure developed in the inside of an exhaust gas cooling device and using the air thus sucked as part of the cooling air at least. CONSTITUTION:One end of an atmosphere suction pipe 50 is connected to communicate with the cylindrical space 18 which is defined by an exhaust gas flow channel 12 and outer pipe 14, and the other end opens in the atmosphere. At an intermediate position of the pipe 50 a flow rate control valve 52 is installed. In a glass melting furnace for high level radioactive waste liquid it is operated with its inside kept at a negative pressure in order to prevent the leakage of radioactive matters. The pressure in the cylindrical space 18 is thereby kept at a sufficiently negative pressure, and by connecting an atmosphere suction pipe 50 to the space 18 the air in the outer atmosphere can be sucked naturally. With this arrangement ample supply of cooling air is effected and the facilities to produce air for instrumentation and air purification facilities are not necessary, and miniaturization of the facilities and energy saving are obtained.</p>
