PURPOSE:To increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance, shape storing performance and strength, to eliminate the necessity of forming screw threads and to make easy removal, by making screws for spectacles with a nickel-titanium alloy. CONSTITUTION:Screws 10 used for fastening temples of spectacles are formed that a hollow tip of a column support with disc shaped top is split into two, the tip is curved left and right and fixed the same as normal screwing. The screws are made of nickel-titanium alloy by this invention, offering sufficient strength, and when the curved part is processed as a straight support at high temperatures, the screws are inserted to holes with heating to fix the temples and the end of the screw is curved at room temperature for strong fixing. Thus, damage to screw threads can not take place as conventionally and the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and strength can be improved. |
