According to the invention, this is a process for the conversion of at least one organic substrate by sequential enzymatic reactions, characterised in that the enzymes used for carrying out the said reactions are immobilised on particles of a polymer which is non-soluble in the reaction medium and in that during at least one of the enzymatic reactions, the enzyme(s) used for the sequence(s) is or are immobilised on particles of magnetisable polymer which is non-soluble in the reaction medium. Use of the process for an analytical or preparative purpose.
