Hollow stopper in the form of a socket (52) made of thermoplastic material, the socket being internally threaded and provided with a seal (55) at its base, this stopper being provided to be screwed onto the end of a tube. The seal (55) is made of thermoplastic elastomer and closely fits the shape of the base of the socket (52) which it entirely covers. The seal (55) is made by injection of thermoplastic elastomer directly into the base of the socket (52) where this seal is retained mechanically and/or adheres by chemical reactions during the injection. <IMAGE>
