The container is secured by a cover lid and fitted with a carrying strap (2). The strap is tightened onto the closed cover by a tensioner strip (1) which is clipped to the strap. The tensioner is twisted, or manipulated to reduce the effective length of the strap, preventing a child from opening the cover. The strip has slotted grips (11, 12) for the strap. It can be in sections to clip over each other, to tighten a loose strap. ADVANTAGE - Simple childproof fitting, low cost fitting, no special tools required.
