<p>PURPOSE:To automatically correct an abnormal loop shape and to perform rolling in a stable loop shape by detecting the loop shape and correcting loop height and loop pressure to make a normal loop shape. CONSTITUTION:In a state 21, the apex of the loop lies on the side of a kicker, a loop height corrector 11 acts in such a direction that the loop height is heightened, a kicker pressure corrector 12 acts in such a direction that the kicker pressure is increased and they are corrected until the apex of the loop returns to the center. A state 22 shows a normal loop shape, and the kicker pressure correction value shows zero and is held. In a state 23, the apex of the loop lies on the side of a reverse kicker, the loop height corrector 11 acts in such a direction that the loop height is lowered and the kicker pressure corrector 12 acts in such a direction the kicker pressure is reduced and they are corrected until the apex of the loop returns to the center. In a state 24, since the loop is trapezoidal, the kicker pressure is reduced and the loop height is lowered. The apex positions of the loops are detected to correct the states 21 - 24 and this is obtained by detecting the inclination of the loops.</p> |
