The partly-lined disc brake, esp. for vehicles, has a U-shaped brake housing (2) with two radial arms (4,6) joined by a bridge-piece. One radial arm supports a brake-control esp. in the form of a braking piston. On each side of a brake disc (24) is a brake lining held in place by pins (38,40) fitting into holes (34,36). The brake housing (2) has a central hole (42) in the bridge piece into which fits a spring (64). The linings have a back plate (27,29) with fitments (54,56,58,60) placed externally against pins (38,40).
