摘要

The laryngoscope comprises a handle and a blade connected to the handle. The blade has a straight portion connected to the handle, and an arcuate mid-portion. A straight distal position terminates at a distal end, and a first groove runs the length of the blade and an opening is on the convex side of the arcuate mid-portion. A bivalve element has an arcuate portion, a distal end, and straight portions shaped to register with corresponding portions of the blade. A second groove runs the length of the arcuate portion, the blade and the bivalve element are connectable together with corresponding shaped portions in contact such that the first groove and the second groove form an elongated passageway running from the connection between the blade and the handle to the distal end of the blade. @(7pp Dwg.No.3/5)@
