Water suction rate measurer for textiles - has specimen clamp above water containers and reflection light barriers with motor drives following water front
摘要
An arrangement for determining the water suction rate of flat textile specimens enables observation of water front motion in specimens (1) held in clamps and contains a water vessel (2). A reflection light barrier (3) associated with each specimen has a light source switchable between red and green. Each light barrier is moved along the specimen by a controlled drive enabling movement synchronous with the water front. A displacement sensor enables the water height to be measured against time. USE/ADVANTAGE - Measuring textile water suction rates against DIN 53 924 less manually intensively than with conventional arrangements.
