The height controller has been designed to be fitted, at a variable height, to a sprung vehicle and it includes a signal source (18) which gives an electrical signal reproducing the distance of the loaded vehicle above the ground. The control device alters the height of the distributing device relative to the vehicle, to maintain a constant distance above the ground with damping in spite of variations of the chassis of the vehicle due to bumps and unevenness. The signal source possesses a filtering stage (19) for suppressing fast fluctuations in the output signal. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved height control. For agricultural use.
