The flowmeter has a float (7) with a permanent magnet movable in a vertical tube between end stops and an external indicator of the height of the float body associated with the magnet. The circular cylindrical, symmetrical float body has guides (10,11) on both ends guiding it coaxially wrt. the measurment tube (6) along its entire path. It is permanently magnetic coaxially to its cylindrical symmetry axis (4). Magnetic field sensitive elements (16) are arranged along the tube's exterior. ADVANTAGE - Ensures highly accurate indication of height of float body.
