Apparatus for connection to a cable (4) comprises a D-connector (2) having a housing supporting a connector block (8) forming a front face of the housing. A generally cylindrical cable entry (16) is formed in the back face of the housing. The cable entry (16) is shielded by a conductive clamp member (30) which is clamped onto the cable. The clamp member (30) is received within a recess (20) within said connector housing such that the clamp member (30) extends across the cable entry (16) to prevent rf emissions through the cable entry.
