<p>PURPOSE:To enable a device to be driven by less power by interposing an elastic member between a clutch plate and a clutch piston, and thereby providing the slidable and rotatable clutch piston and a dog clutch. CONSTITUTION:A dish plate 38 acting as an elastic member is interposed between the tip end of a clutch piston 24 and a driven plate 16, the pressing force of the piston 24 is thereby transmitted to a clutch plate 20 via a dish plate 38. Spline teeth 24b which is meshed with the spline teeth 12a of a mission case 12, are formed on the outer circumference of the tip end section of the piston 24, and clutch teeth 24c which can be meshed with the spline teeth 10a of a clutch hub 10, are formed on the inner circumference of the tip end of the piston 24 so that a dog clutch 40 is thereby made up out of the spline teeth 10a and the clutch teeth 24c. The dog clutch 40 is so set up as to be brought in mesh after fluid pressure has been applied to a cylinder chamber 34 so as to be engaged with the clutch plate 20.</p> |
