PURPOSE:To decrease the capacity reduction for each charge/discharge cycle and improve charge/discharge characteristics by forming an active material with a molybdenum oxide made of the two-component composition of molybdenum and oxygen and having oxygen void lattice points. CONSTITUTION:MoO3 powder and at least one kind of molybdenum oxide powder with the oxidation number different from that of molybdenum MoO3 are mixed at the preset ratio, the mixed powder is pressurized into an integrated object, and it is heated and baked in vacuum. The diffusion of the lithium in a crystal lattice is easily progressed at the time of charging and discharging, and it has a soft structure. There is no barrier in the direction that lithium ions are moved, the so-called anisotropic property is eliminated, the intercurrent and de-intercurrent of lithium ions are facilitated, the movement in the lattice is facilitated, and conductivity is improved. The charge/discharge characteristics and charge-discharge cycle of a battery are increased. |
