PURPOSE:To execute the housesitting picture recording of a CATV broadcast program by constituting the equipment so that a circuit block related to receiving and reproducing a signal of a terminal converter becomes a turn-on state at a desired time of a subscriber. CONSTITUTION:A terminal converter 2 receives a control signal for setting the present time from a transmitting means, or the terminal converter 2 counts the time set by the control signal by an internal timer. Accordingly, at a start time of a program reserved in advance by a subscriber, the reserved program is brought to channel selection automatically, signal reproducing parts 12-20 of the terminal converter 2 become a turn-on state, and the signal can be received, reproduced, descrambled and outputted. In such a way, even at the time of absence, a CATV broadcast can be brought to picture recording by using a video tape recorder, etc. |
