Rubber compositions, cured rubbers, and preparation thereof.

A conductive rubber composition is prepared by blending (A) a silicone rubber composition including an organopolysiloxane having the average composition formula (1): <CHEM> wherein R<1> is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, up to 95 mol% of R<1> groups being methyl groups, and n is a positive number of from 1.95 to 2.05 and conductive carbon black, with (B) a silicone rubber composition including an organopolysiloxane having the average composition formula (2): <CHEM> wherein R<2> is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, at least 98 mol% of R<2> groups being methyl groups, and m is a positive number of from 1.95 to 2.05. This rubber composition and cured products thereof have stable electric resistivity in the semiconductive range and are thus suitable as rubber roll members in business machines.
