Described is a gripper/cutter (1) with a slot (3) defined by the longitudinal edges of the arms (2) of the gripper/cutter, the slot edges having inclined surfaces (4) similar to those of a chisel. These inclined surfaces extend over a wire-insertion zone (6) and a gripping zone (5). Between these two zones, the surfaces of the slot are not inclined, thus giving a shoulder (7) which makes it difficult for the wires held in the gripper/cutter to slip out. |
