7-AMINE DERIVATIVES OF 1-CYCLOPROPYL-6,8-DIFLUORO-1,4- DIHYDRO-4-OXO-3-QUINOLINECARBOXYLIC ACIDS AND 1-CYCLOPROPYL-1,4-DIHYDRO-6-FLUORO-4-OXO-1,8-NAPHTHYRIDINE- 3-CARBOXYLIC ACIDS AS ANTIBACTERIAL AGENTS

Antibacterial agents such as 1-cyclopropyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acids and 1-cyclopropyl-1,4-dihydro-6-fluoro-4-oxo-1,8-naphthyridine-3-carboxylic acids having amine substituents on the 7-position are described as well as a method of manufacture, pharmaceutical compositions thereof and a method of treating bacterial infections therewith. Also described are novel intermediates used to prepare the various compounds with the amine substituents.
