PURPOSE: To produce a strong signal that can be utilized without being obstructed by noise by providing two flat blades or supporting bodies positioned at a specific angle, and by arranging a light source on the blade on one side and a photosensor on the blade on the other side. CONSTITUTION: A measuring sensor is made up of supporting bodies or a frame 1 which has been partitioned by substantially two blades 2, 3 to form an obtuse angle. The two blades 2, 3 are flat and have the same dimensions, and are fixedly connected to each other at the angle of 120 deg. The angleαmay be varied in accordance with the use thereof, and generally it is selected in the range of 90 deg. to 170 deg. A light emitting diode 4 is positioned in the center of the inside surface of the first blade 2, and a photosensitive element 5 is fitted to the center of the inside surface of the second blade 3; and a connecting cable 6 is installed so as to correspond to the side surface, and the cable 6 includes the electric wires for the two operating elements, and is connected to a measuring device 7. The device is used, for instance, for measuring the oxygen concentration of hemoglobin in the blood, and the measuring sensor is fixed to an appropriate portion of the body, for instance, to the finger by means of an adhesive tape, so that a good signal can be provided.
