COMMUNICATOR BETWEEN SOFTWARES

PURPOSE: To perform cutting off and to interface an external process and a computer by constituting a communication interface by a program library compiled by communication constituting elements and data exchange constituting elements. CONSTITUTION: Host computers 10 and 12 operated by client applications 16 and 18 are programmed by the library of programs and the programs respectively constitute the communication interfaces 20 and 22. The communication interfaces 20 and 22 are provided with the communication constituting elements 30 and 96 and the data exchange constituting elements 32 and 88 and the overall purpose of the data exchange constituting elements 32 and 88 is to cut off the applications 16 and 18 from the details of data expressions, data constitution and the meaning of data. Thus, a data format is cut off so as to make a first process able to perform communication with a second process without the need of making the first process able to recognize and handle a format used by the second process.
