PURPOSE: To completely remove an inner seal without tearing the inner seal by providing a notch on the circumference of the inner seal. CONSTITUTION: An inner seal 14 is fitted to a mouth of a container 13. When a screwed lid 6 is detached, the inner seal 14 is removed, and a pull tab 15 is pulled up, the pull tab 15 first separates a part directly adjacent to the pull tab 15 of the inner seal from an upper surface of the container, and the pull tab 15 is further pulled to separate the inner seal from the upper surface of the container along notches 16, 17. Thus, the notches 16, 17 have the effect to reduce the tension to be withstood by the initial pull by reducing the surface area of the inner seal. After the inner seal 14 is separated from a mouth of the container over the whole length of the notches 16, 17 from the whole width of the pull tab 15, a suspension part 18 of the inner seal 14 is pulled up as the inner seal 14 is further separated from the mouth of the container. Thus, the possibility of tearing the inner seal becomes little in removing the inner seal from the upper surface of the container. |
