PURPOSE:To improve heat conductivity to the tip surfaces of protruding stripes by a method wherein on the sealing surfaces of heater blocks, trapezoid shaped protruding stripes are provided, and areas on the tip surfaces are made as small as possible, and angle which is made between the tip surface and the adjacent tilted surface is specified. CONSTITUTION:Both heater blocks 1, 1 are laterally provided across a film A1, on sealing surfaces 1a, 1a, protruding stripes 2 are provided. The protruding stripe 2 is formed into a trapezoid shape which is made by cutting off the top part of an isosceles triangle in parallel with the sealing surface 1a. A width dimension L1 of a tip surface 2a of the trapezoid is made as small as machinable to minimize the area of the tip surface 2a, and angle which is formed between the tip surface 2a and a tilted surface 2b is set to be not less than 50 deg. but less than 80 deg. so that heat conductivity to the tip surface 2a can be improved by widening the base end area of the protruding stripe 2, and a crushing area of a vertical sealing part A11 does not become wide. On the sealing surface 1a of another heater block 1 which confronts with these protruding stripes 2, backup surfaces 3, which are in parallel with the tip surfaces 2a of the protruding stripes 2, are formed. A width dimension of the backup surface 3 is the same or longer than the width dimension L1 of the tip surface 2a, and the area of the backup surface 3 is approximately the same or wider than the area of the tip surface 2a.
