CONSTITUTION:This device has the liquid crystal display element formed by crimping a liquid crystal 12 between 1st and 2nd substrates 1 and 5 formed with electrodes on one main surface and the 1st and 2nd polarizing plates 13, 14 deposited on the other main surface side of the 1st and 2nd substrates 1, 5. The 1st and 2nd glass plates 17, 18 are deposited respectively on the 1st and 2nd polarizing plates 13, 14. At least one of the materials among a UV curing type silicone system, modified polyester system and thermosetting type silicone system having <=-10 deg.C glass transition point and <=50 Shore hardness of the hardness after curing are used as the adhesive agent 16 for adhering the glass plates 17, 18. The generation of the peeling, cracking, etc., in the adhesive agent 16 is prevented in this way even in the severe environment of -55 to 90 deg.C temp. cycles. The high reliability is thus obtd.
